IN our weekly online column, ALINA POLIANSKAYA looks at who's wearing what in Camden Town this week

Joel Estevez, (pictured above) who works in a clothes shop in Camden Town has chosen a relaxed, easygoing look to fend off the summer heat. The 28-year-old who lives in Islington, is wearing a white vest with Michael Jordan on it that he bought from a shop in America, some denim cut-off jeans with a brown belt, along with some brown loafers from Italy and a pair of orange and black shades from a shop in Camden Town. Joel, who is originally from Italy, said the style here is “a lot more crazy” than back in his home town.

Eugene Tuccitto, 19, is originally from Dijon in France but has spent plenty of time travelling from country to country, stopping off in Camden Town for a spot of shopping. The self-confessed “classic metalhead” is wearing a black and red jacket from House of Leather in Camden High Street, an old band T-shirt, some red trousers with chains on from the “metal-core generation” and some Dr Martens. With death metal, trash and new wave on his playlist, his clothes represent his taste in music, though he adds: “I could be wearing this and listening to rap or classical music, it doesn't matter.”

Sara Teixeira, 18, who is originally from Portugal but living in Kennington, is spending the day drifting around Camden and enjoying the heat. The 18-year-old, who works at JD Sports has decided to go for her “rock chick” look, with boots from a shop in Camden Town, fishnet tights from Primark, a long white top with a Mexican skull on it from Topshop, a blue dress worn as an open jacket from C&A and a bag from a market in Portugal. She has colour co-ordinated everything perfectly, from her blue hair, to her blue fan from Camden market and the blue nail polish, all matching the dress. Though the blue look is not staying for long… her hair, which she has previously dyed pink and blonde, is set to be dyed back to black soon.

Amber Haward, 23, a MAC make-up artist from Brixton, definitely knows how to bag a bargain. She tells us her print patterned dress cost just £4 from Primark with a brown belt that was just £2 from boohoo.com, an £8 rucksack from Monki and  some white Converse trainers from Office. Even the accessories were excellent finds, with a necklace for £2 and shades for just £1 from Primark. The savvy lady, who is off to check out a new bar in Elephant and Castle, said: “It's not about the price, it's about making it look good.”

Iman Dalenius, 21, from Leicester is celebrating her graduation earlier that day – she has just picked up her certificate for magazine publishing from Middlesex University. Now she has ditched the robes and hat and donned a colourful playsuit from Primark, with some tasselled white Zara shoes and a matching Primark bag, to have a little wander with her family around Camden Town – which she said “is probably my favourite place in London.” She describes her look as “boho chic” and said that her best style tip is: “either legs or boobs, don't show both.”

Binta Camara, 20, from Berlin but currently doing voluntary service in Antwerp, has managed to catch the hottest days of the year for her four-day holiday to London. She is wearing a turquoise, striped jumpsuit from Antwerp, and some shoes from a shop in Berlin which she no longer remembers the name of. Binta, who is out for a spot of shopping with a friend, describes her summery style as “crazy and wild”.
